Ingredients for beef tail soup 

  • Oil
  • Cinnamon
  • Clove
  • Fennel seeds - 1/2 Tsp
  • Bay leaf 
  • Beef tail - 250 gms
  • Garlic 
  • Shallots 
  • Tomato - 1 no.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp 
  • Curry leaves 
  • Water required
  • Salt required 
  • Coriander leaves 
  • Cumin seeds - 1 Tsp 
  • Peppercorn - 1 Tsp
  • Coriander seeds - 1 Tbsp

Method of Preparation

How to cook beef tail soup?

To prepare a healthy beef tail soup, in a mixer jar add cumin seeds, peppercorns, coriander seeds and grind it to a fine powder. Pound some garlic with the skin and keep it aside, crush some shallots roughly and keep it aside. In a tension cooker, heat some oil, add cove leaf, cloves, cinnamon, fennel seeds,

Beef tail chunks, pound garlic, pound shallots and saute them. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, ground masala powder, salt, curry leaves and give a quick mix. Add required water for beef tail soup and mix well. Close the pressure cooker and cook it for about 30 – 45 minutes. Open the pressure cooker and add coriander leaves and curry leaves.

Serve the soup hot with a sprinkle of pepper powder. Beef tail soup is good for your health.

 

 

2. Beef tail soup with vegetables

Here is the simple way of preparing beef tail soup with vegetables.

Ingredients 

  • Beef tail - 300 gms
  • Garlic cloves unpeeled - 10 
  • Celery - 2 stalks
  • Carrots - 2 ( cut into pieces)
  • Potato - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Corn - 1 bowl
  • Water as required
  • beef broth
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of Preparation

How to prepare beef broth?

To prepare beef broth from the beef tail, preheat the oven to 450°. In a large pan, add beef tailpieces, uncover and bake it for 30 minutes. Add 1 carrot, celery, garlic, and onions. Bake it for another 30 minutes. Using a spoon, transfer bones and vegetables to the large saucepan. Add warm water to the saucepan; Transfer pan juices to saucepan.

Add seasonings and enough water just to cover. Slowly bring to a boil, boil for about 30 minutes. Now simmer and cook for 2-3 hours. Remove meat and discard bones from beef tail and save meat for soup. Strain broth through a filter and keep it aside.

Preparation of soup

Take a saucepan, transfer beef broth into it. Add chopped carrots, potatoes, onions, and a bowl of corn into it. Simmer and cook it for 10 mins. Add the meat from the beef tail and season it with salt and pepper.

Garnish it with the way you love. Serve it hot.

 

 

3. Mexican style beef soup recipe

Ingredients

  • Beef oxtail
  • beef stew meat
  • Potatoes-6 chopped
  • Onions- 2chopped
  • Tomatoes-2 chopped
  • Celery Stalks -2 chopped
  • Carrots- 2 chopped
  • Cabbage chopped - 1 bowl
  • Cucumbers, sliced-2
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

In a large stock pot add oil, add all the ingredients together such as oxtail, beef, potatoes, onion, tomatoes, celery, carrots, cabbage, and cucumbers. Saute it. 

Well. Just cook for 5 mins. Fill the stock pot with water until all ingredients are covered well. Cook over medium hotness for around 60 minutes. Make sure the vegetables are tender and beef is cooked well. Season it with pepper powder. Transfer it to a serving bowl and have it hot. Here comes the yummy beef tail soup which is similar to Mexican style.
