1. Beef Brain Masala Recipe



Beef Brain recipe is spicy and it just melts in your mouth. It is loaded with essential nutrients and is extremely flavorful. You can have this beef brain masala along with steamed rice or as a side dish. The cooking time is just 30 mins.  

Ingredients

 
  • Beef Brain - 2 
  • Onions - 1 cup 
  • Tomatoes - 1 
  • Green chilies -2 
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Chili powder - 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 
  • Water 
  • Oil 
  • Salt 
 

Method of preparation

  How to prepare a beef brain masala recipe? Boil the water with salt and turmeric powder. Add the beef brain to it and cook it for about 5 mins. Remove the brain from the boiling water and devein it. Once the brain is de-veined, chop it up into smaller pieces and keep it aside. Heat a pan with some oil, saute onions till they are golden brown in color and now add ginger garlic paste, and green chilies. Add tomatoes and cook them well. Add all the spice powders and salt and mix well. Once the oil oozes out from the masala add the beef brain pieces. Add water and cook it well. Finally, add pepper powder and coriander leaves and turn off the stove. Serve the beef brain masala hot.

 

2. Beef Brain Pepper Fry

 

Ingredients: 

 
  • Beef brain - 2
  • Ginger and garlic paste-  2 tsp 
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp 
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp 
  • Red chili powder -1 tsp 
  • Pepper powder-  4 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp 
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Salt 
  • Oil
  • Coriander leaves
 

How to make beef Pepper fry?

  Take a glass bowl, Add beef brain pieces into it. To marinate the beef brain add Ginger garlic paste, turmeric, garam masala, Red chili powder, Pepper powder, cumin powder, Coriander powder, chopped coriander leaves, and add required salt. Now mix it completely. Marinate the mixture for about 30 min. Heat a pan, add oil, and now add the beef brain pieces into it. Close and cook both sides for about 15 mins. Make sure it is completely cooked through. Serve it hot. Best side dish for steamed rice.

 

3. Beef Brain Recipe fry / Varuval / Pirattal

 

Ingredients:

 
  • Beef brain - 2 No’s
  • Shallots - 1 cup
  • Ginger - 1 piece minced
  • Garlic - Cloves 8 minced
  • Green Chillies - 5
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Cumin seeds - 1 Tbsp
  • Peppercorns - 1 Tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1 Tbsp
  • Coriander Powder - 2 Tbsp
  • Coriander Leaves chopped
  • Curry leaves
 

For Tempering

 
  • Fennel seeds - 1 Tsp
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Cloves - 3
  • Cinnamon - 1
  • Bay leaves - 1
  • Star Anise - 1
 

Method Of Preparation

  Take a saucepan, add peppercorns, cumin, and curry leaves. Just saute it without adding oil. Turn off the stove once you get a nice aroma. Add it to a mixer jar, grind it to a powder and keep it aside.  Boil the water with salt and turmeric powder. Add the beef brain to it and cook it for about 5 mins.  Remove the brain from the boiling water and devein it. Heat oil in a saucepan, add oil, add all spices, ginger-garlic minced, green chilies slit, curry leaves, add 1 cup shallot and saute well. Once onions become transparent add tomatoes and cook well until it becomes soft. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and required salt and mix well until the raw smell goes out. Now add the beef brain pieces and add the grind ground mixture and mix well. Cook for 5 mins. Beef brain fry is ready to be served. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
