Is Beef Soup good for your Health?

Before coming to beef soup recipes, There are some bad opinions on red meat but it’s not true. Beef helps in developing your immune system and prevents illness. It is very much advisable to take beef to prevent you from deadly diseases. Beef is so much cheaper when compared to mutton. But people don’t take it in their diet. It’s so healthy and beef soup can be served even to kids. Beef requires very minimum preparation time and it's very easy to cook in day-to-day life.

1.One-pot Vegetable Beef Soup


  • Round steak or any type of beef meat
  • Bay leaves 
  • Oil
  • Beef stock
  • Onion -1 chopped
  • Carrots -4 Sliced
  • Celery-1 Bowl (chopped)
  • Mushrooms -1 bowl (chopped)
  • Tomatoes -3 (diced)
  •  Peas - 1 cup
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Barley- 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder
  • Italian seasoning if required
  • Any other veggies if required as per your wish.

Method of preparation

Take a pressure cooker, add oil. Now add beef, garlic and salt, and pepper. Cook it until the meat turns dark brown on all sides. Add Italian seasoning, barley, and all of the vegetables. Give a quick mix and saute it for 2 mins. Add beef stock and some bay leaves, now mix and close the pressure cooker.

Simmer the flame and cook it for about 30 minutes. Open the cooker and add 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch into 2 tablespoons of water and mix well without lumps, add the corn water into the soup and stir it well to get soup consistency. Soup is ready and serves hot with some pepper powder. 

2.South Indian Special beef Soup


  • Beef with bones - 300 gms
  • Oil
  • Onions sliced -1
  • Yogurt - 4 tbsp 
  • Red Chilli powder -2 tbsp 
  • Garam Masala -1 tbsp 
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp 
  • Ginger-Garlic paste -1 tbsp 
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • Cardamom
  • 4 Cloves
  • Water required
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice
  • Coriander leaves, chopped for garnishing

Method of preparation:

Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves then add onions, cook it until it becomes transparent. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute well until the raw smell goes. Add red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt, yogurt, give it a quick mix, and add water.

Stir well and ensure that the oil starts releasing on high flame. Add beef with bones, give it a mix, add the required water for the soup. Allow it to cook on high flame. Cover thE pressure cooker and allow it to pressure cook for 45 mins.

How do you add flavor to beef soup?

Once it is cooked, add a pinch of salt, lemon juice, pepper powder and garnish it with chopped coriander leaves, mix well. Our beef Soup is ready. Serve it hot.

3.Beef Noodles soup recipe


  • beef stew meat - cut into small pieces
  • chopped onion - 1
  • chopped celery - 1 cup
  • beef bouillon 
  • dried parsley
  • ground black pepper
  • chopped carrots - 1
  • Water as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Noodles or pasta or macaroni as per your liking.

Method of preparation

In a large saucepan add oil, add onions and celery, add beef meat and saute in medium heat for 10 minutes, cook it until meat is browned on all sides. Now add the bouillon, parsley, ground black pepper, carrots, water, and noodles. check for seasoning and add salt to taste. stir it well. Keep on high flame and bring to a boil, now simmer the flame and cook it for 30 minutes. Tasty beef noodles soup is ready to serve. A very healthy dinner is ready with floating noodles.
